Giving you unlimited travel for a set period of time, ranging from seven days through to a year, Season Tickets are valid on any of our three routes. By choosing an Annual ticket, you could be travelling from as little as £6.10 per day*.
Our quickest route – Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head – takes just 22 minute and has excellent rail connections on both sides.

Make your first payment at the time of purchase and then make two more payments on the same date each month, giving you flexibility to manage your spending in a way that suits you.

Adult and Education & Training 180 day Season Ticket holders get a Reward Pass for two complimentary vehicle single tickets, valid for 180 days, which can be shared with friends or family.

*£6.10 per day is based on the 2024/25 Adult Annual Season Ticket price divided by 364 days.
Season Tickets can be bought online – unless you’re paying by Direct Debit.
To help reduce our impact on the environment, we don’t issue plastic cards. Instead, your Season Ticket can be accessed and used through our app or you can use the paper ticket that will be issued to you.
If you’re buying online, your Season Ticket will be valid immediately. We’ll send your paper ticket and paper Reward Pass in the post.
If you have purchased either an Education and Training Season Ticket or a Student Season Ticket online, you will need to provide proof of entitlement, usually photo ID, the first time you use it. We accept valid:
Student Rider cards
ISIC (International Student Identity Card)
TOTUM card
UNiDAYS
College and University photo ID cards with an expiry date
Teacher ID cards
For Education and Training and Student Season Ticket applications, you will need to be able to provide photo ID from the list above.
Direct Debit applicants will need to email a completed Direct Debit application form to [email protected] before calling our Contact Centre, on 0333 9997333, to set up the Season Ticket.
If you are applying to pay by Direct Debit for an Education and Training Season Ticket, you will need to attach your proof of your entitlement when emailing [email protected]. Valid ID options are listed above.

Topping up
You can top up your Season tickets through the Wightlink app, online or over the phone. Season Tickets purchased by Direct Debit cannot be topped up online, unfortunately.
The easiest way to use your Season Ticket is using the Wightlink app. Simply show your ticket on your phone to staff when boarding.
Using your Season Ticket to book online
If you purchased your Season Ticket online, you’re already set up and ready to go, but if you bought yours over the phone, you might have to get in touch with us for it to work with online bookings. Simply fill out the Season Ticket form on our Contact Us page, making sure to state that you need your Pass setup for online use in the Message section. We’ll arrange everything for you and you can then login online.
When you’re ready you can make bookings using the Wightlink app by going to ‘New Booking’ and selecting ‘Click to book with a Ticket Pass’ before choosing your sailing time.
If you’d rather book on our website, select your sailing time and then tick ‘Book with a pass’. You’ll need to log in to your account when prompted and at the payment stage, choose the Season Ticket you’d like to pay with.

Multilink Passenger Passes
If a Season Ticket doesn’t work for you, a Multilink Passenger Pass may be a better option. They offer a set number of discounted foot sailings, such as 20 single crossings.

Qualifying purchases
Purchases of the following frequent travel passes will qualify for friends and family discount codes:
Multilink Vehicle 20 Pass purchases will trigger two 25% discount codes
Multilink Vehicle 40 Pass purchases will trigger three 25% discount codes
Multilink Vehicle 60 Pass purchases will trigger three 33% discount codes
90 Day Season Ticket purchases will trigger two 25% discount codes
180 Day Season Ticket purchases will trigger three 25% discount codes
Annual Season Ticket purchases will trigger three 33% discount codes
The account connected to the purchase must have a valid email address in order to deliver the codes
Codes will be sent via email within 10 working days of purchase.
If you believe you have made a qualifying purchase and do not receive discount codes via email, please contact us and we will arrange for your codes to be sent
Code redemption
These are one-time use promotion codes which can only be redeemed online.
Valid for bookings made and travel taken up to 4 January 2026, with the following travel date exclusions:

Promotion codes are valid on vehicle and foot travel from the mainland to the Isle of Wight only
Each Promotion Code can only be used once and only one Promotion Code can be used per booking. Please do not test the Promotion Code as once used, you will not be able to use it again, even if the booking is not confirmed. The Promotion Code will not be replaced. Payment must be made at the time of booking.
If you are copying and pasting the code into the box, please be careful not to include a space at the end of the code as the system will not recognise it. Also, be careful with the numbers 0, 1, 2, 5 as they look similar to the letters O, I, Z, S.
How to book: Copy the Promotion Code to use in the ‘I have a Promotion Code’ box at the bottom of the ‘Your Details’ stage when making your booking online. The discount will be shown at the payment stage of your booking.
If using a mobile device, make sure you scroll right to the bottom of Stage 3 (Journey Extras) of the booking process as this is where the ‘I have a Promotion Code’ is located.

Standard Tickets offer you the most flexibility. They are free to amend online, over the phone and at our ports. They are also refundable with just a £5 fee if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your outward sailing.
Promotion Code cannot be used against Season Tickets, Multilink Passes, attraction and festival tickets, any other promotional offers including Tesco Clubcard Reward Partner Codes, already discounted fares, B2B (Business to Business) bookings, groups of 10 or more foot passengers, minibuses, coaches, commercial / freight vehicles over 5.0m in length, or for any other journey that cannot be booked online.
Promotion Code is not valid for cash or cash equivalent and no adjustments can be made on previous purchases
